today we went from mountains to foothills on the way to VAST prairie, easier walking, less concentrated population (read: fewer RV parks and "rest stops")...oh well Lewis & Clark managed it!!!...today we got in 21.2 miles (34.1935 km's) with 40,189 steps...collected today along the road: 1 useable flat-head, no-name screw driver, 1 plastic "Nemo" (or his first fishy cousin!!!), 1 Nike yellow "Crush" golf ball, 5 cent Canadian Tire coupon, 1 chain link connector (look it up), 1 penny, 1 nickel and 1 loonie...walked right through the "Frank Slide" a graveyard of some 70-90 people, after almost 110 years (110 metric years!) there is still very little if any vegetation, a couple of trees, very quite and desolate place...Thursday will be a "mental health" day, laundry, nap, foot rest, light due fix, etc...at this rate we should be in Montana before I take my Ireland break (flight leaves the 22nd)...flexibility and communication are as important today as ever...Friday will be Pincher Creek with Sunday a moving day, probably to Raymond where my sister Roxy and her family (Heart's Haven Ranch) live...see ya'll down the road...cheers!!!
