well today we put in 23.3 miles with 43,641 steps...findings for the day: 1 sign with a red arrow 24" x 8" and a small Browning pocket knife...weather was sunny all day, morning had a slight head wind, afternoon is was a decent tail wind...a couple of small flocks of geese, guess most of them were enjoying the warmer weather...the are is again pretty sparse, few trees, very flat and not many people...am looking forward to the Black Hills...tomorrow we will walk through Alzeda and into Wyoming...I still have to get a better South Dakota map...move the coach down the road tomorrow, walk then find a place to set up camp for a few days...cheers
