walking day #64...Crow Agency to Busby, MT...Tuesday, October 2, 2012...Robert the reporter and Pastor Rob

walked 22.3 miles (35.9677 km's) with 43,997...items found: 1 quarter, 1 dime, 1 penny, 1 squeaky dog toy (ball), 1 dog bowl, no dog, hitch pin, small socket, a flashlight, a Pink Floyd button, some goofy plastic troll type creature and a handful of reflectors...it seems when the employees of the Montana Department of Transportation change reflectors they just DROP the old one on the ground (somehow I am guessing that is NOT in a policies & procedures manual!!!)...walked past Custer's last stand and could see grave markers from the road, a prime example of ego run amuck with no official oversight, lack of communications and man's inhumanity to man, al least the animal kingdom eats itself for survival, humans do it for?????????...along the way we were stopped by Robert the Reporter, he took a few pictures and we chatted a bit...I had the pleasure of having Robert walk with me a bit while he interviewed me, Robert, your stopping that day was truly a gift to ME, thank you for being curious AND doing your job, thank you again for sharing a bit of your story, THAT is how come I am out here...thank you to Pastor Rob in Busby for ministering to the more temporal needs of an elderly support vehicle driver!!!, I enjoyed the conversation, I am sure your wife is much more grounded than other politicians, amy she ALWAYS remember "the people"...cheers!!!

Sorry for not doing spell check before sending. First off, the iPad sometimes fills in what I want to say and a couple of oops are just my typos, but I was in a hurry. LOL. Next time I will be more careful because some of it reads something of weird. Like it was not a child walk, but a COLD walk. Etc
Yes the walk and talk with Robert was most enjoyable and diverting, and having just lost my dearly beloved to that awful claimed, cancer, I can empathize with his pain. I am looking forward to seeing his story in the paper. Watch for it, I will be sending it on. Yesterday FRI oct fifth, as Art walked with snow sleet and rain and for about a half hour, sun, he had a little dirty white pooch traveling with him, She just woukd not leave. The walk ended with twenty point one in pouring rain, and then Art, the soft hearted guy he is could not leave the mut twenty miles from home so guess what. We put all my stuff, knitting extra jacket book camera etc, in the already overful back and made a space for the soaking wer, cold dog at me feet where I held on to her collar for dear life because I thing she wanted to crawl onto Arts lap, but it was his turn to drive so she had to stay with me all the way back to almost the start where she joined Art. Can you imagine anything worse than wet, unwashed dog smell that maybe hit wet chicken feathers. Even to it was raining I had to crack the window a bit to keep from passing out! But at least we did not leave her twenty miles from home and she was quite ready to jump out of the car when we got to the location. I am sure she will find the right house now, but who knows, she might just be a lonely, Reserve doggie. I am sure she entertained Art all the way on that child walk.
