My Dear Big Brother,
I have read every word of your blog as you have walked. I have not written much, cause, as you well know, I am on my own daily marathon around here at the ranch. As I read today's post, which is right now, I am sitting at my computer and crying....what a massive accomplishment you have finished. I WISH I could be there with you at mile 0. Other priorities are in front, though. My heart is with you, though!!!! I'm still crying. You are an awesome big brother and an awesome friend. Well done in creating this dream and then going out and DOING it!!! As it says on our arena wall, "I AM A CREATOR". May you someday sit with our Creator and hear from Him just how much your example has touched the lives of everyone you encountered along the way...May your feel His love and complete acceptance of your offering to your fellow man, deep, deep in your soul. I love you, my brother. Rejoice and be glad!!!! I'm STILL crying. It is a privilege and honor to know you and to know that you are my brother. God Bless you, Art.

Much, much love,
Roxy

Dear Mr Arthur Werner,
Having just arrived from Boston, Joe and I were eager to get a picture of 0 mile marker in Key West. We had no idea of the amazing story of the man standing right next to us offering to take our picture. Wowed by your feat having just arrived from BC about "ten minutes ago" you won us over and soon gathered an adoring collection of fans. The looks on their faces as they needed to extend hands of congratulations isn't seen often. The look was geniune admiration and something more-profound hope and exhillaration maybe. Hard to describe the effect you had on us all, but cars were pulled over and drivers getting out to be part of that unique moment.
It was a true honor sir,
Thinking of you as your son joins you now in Key West.
Sincerely,
Candace Colbert/Joe Alfieri

Dear Art
When my husband and I planned a trip to Key West we had no idea of the all inspiring man we would meet. You were the icing on the cake that made our trip totally unforgettable. We can't thank you enough for carrying our little angel's name "Anthony" on your last mile. He left us way too soon and it is so comforting to know there are people like you raising awareness to help support these families. It was truly our honor to have met you:) May God bless you and keep you safe.
