Today was supposed to be cold and snowy.  As it turns out snowy was not part of the day and in fact sunny was the order of the day.  Cold is was.  Good thing the wind was behind me most of the day.  We continued down route 65 from Ridgeway to Western Grove.  When the day was over we covered 21.1 miles (34.0323 km's) with 44,502 steps.  Findings of the day: 1 socket driver, 5 thin dimes, 1 nickel and 16 pennies.  In Harrison, Don Langford, gave me a pair of coveralls to wear during the cold weather, Thank You DON for your kindness!  At the same garage I had a spirited conversation with a former navy man, Duane Swenson.  WHEN ARE WE GOING TO GET TERM LIMITATIONS!?!?!? Reporter,  David Holsted interviewed me roadside for the Harrison Daily Times.  Tomorrow we move the motor home to either Clinton or Damascus after a short 9-10 mile walking day.  Cheers!!!

Ahh! Damascus. Spent many summer weeks at the boy scout reservation located close to that town. In fact, Ross learned to swim there his first year at Scout Camp. It has been a wonderful first week as Support Vehicle Pilot. Everytime I got out of the car today, I had a new appreciation for The Walk and The Walker. I videotaped the interview that Art had with the newspaper reporter and was totally frozen when it was done. You can probably see my hands shaking from cold on the video. Sorry, Art, that I didn't get warm weather for you in the south. Love ya, brother!

My prayers go with you and I wish I could send along some of my warmth! LOL
Thank you for taking over right now Victor and more prayers to find someone from down there to go on with the driving part of the walk. I home that last news article will drum up the volunteer we need. Amanda could come for three weeks only but she cannot afford the airfair to get there and back. I told her I would hold her room for her is she went LOL.
were the coveralls the yellow type too. thanks to whomever is trying to help keep my son warm. Love from The MOM:D

Well, After a rainy day yesterday with some time to do some minor RV repairs, a trip to Conway for dinner and a movie, the walk is back on track again. We are headed north to a couple of miles south of Pindall, AR to begin walking again. While there is no snow or rain falling, it is cold and in the 20s. Hopefully, Art will get a few good days of walking in before I have to go back to work on Thursday. I could still help him on the weekend, but still need that elusive Support Vehicle Driver to join the walk!
